Kama Indian Bistro

For 2 years now my parents have been regularly going to Kama Indian Bistro, and taking family, friends, and guests whenever they could. The first time they took me, I was ready for another boring Indian restaurant affair, and I had the pleasure of being blown away. The food is like no other Indian food I've had, fresh, interesting tastes, contemporary but grounded in tradition. Overall...amazing! So, when my mom and I decided to throw a surprise 70th birthday party for my father, we only had one place in mind. Vikram and Agnes and the rest of the staff were unbelievably accommodating! From the start they worked with me on the menu, allowed me to come up with ideas with their own suggestions. The day of, Sunday, May 1st, we had our guests come early and have cocktails, including these amazing mango martinis. The meal itself was a hit. The staff was attentive during the meal, and Vikram and Agnes were gracious hosts. During this time, there were changes in the amount of guests and how much non-veg vs. veg food we needed, and Vikram worked with me on pricing and went down from the initial amount I agreed to. I couldn't be happier with the food and the service, and will hopefully use them for further parties! Thank you again!!!!"

On April 6, 2011, our ladies group had a special dinner at Kama Indian Bistro. There were 15 of us and even though the Bistro was closed for remodeling, they agreed to accommodate us privately on the night before they reopened. We met with Vikram a couple of weeks before the event to plan the menu. He had many suggestions to give us a diversified menu that would show the different facets of Indian food and was able to adjust the spice level to meet the needs of the group. We had 3 appetizers, 4 main courses, rice, nan and dessert. Most of the dishes were served family style and there were plenty of leftovers. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Many of us had martinis, which were individually made with fresh ingredients. Great care was taken in choosing the unusual combinations and the result was spectacular. The favorite of the group was the "Cinnamon Pleasure Martini". We had great service. The drinks and food arrived in a timely manner and the servers were very responsive to all of our requests. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we received and Vikram worked with us to keep it within our budget. We loved the pleasant atmosphere and the quiet music; a lovely place to have a meal. Our group had a wonderful time and many of us have since made Kama a regular dinner choice.

We ordered from Kama Indian Bistro for a staff training event and were overwhelmed by the food variety, quality and service. Kama helped us develop a creative buffet featuring delicious, diverse dishes from appetizers to dessert. My team loved it! We'll definitely look to Kama's catering expertise again.
